Sublimation Printing Process
The Sublimation process involves the use of sophisticated computer graphics and heat transfer technologies.
Preparing the Design
Every Tees uses the latest graphic design software to create a mockup of your garment. The mockup will showcase the entire garment, logos and requested colors..
Sublimation Print
We use an high-end Sublimation Printer to recreate “mirror images” of the mock-up designs onto transfer paper.
Heat Press Process
The images on the transfer papers are heated and pressed onto a garment with the help of a computer-controlled rotary heat press.
Sewing
The Sublimation process can be used for the design of the entire garment. Such designs (i.e. sports uniforms) require sewing to connect the print patterns
Why Digital Sublimation?
Sublimation printing is an excellent choice for many printing projects, unfortunately the sublimation process does not work well with cotton-based clothing. The reason behind our statement is due to the fact that sublimation uses heat to turn printing ink into a gaseous state, the gas is then infused into the clothing fibers. The transfer of ink onto a substrate occurs at the molecular level, and cottons molecular structure repels the ink molecules.
